The Elite Bulldoggs, a 10-and-under travel baseball team from Winder, couldn't sustain the momentum from a 16-10 win over Peachtree Ridge Friday night in the opening round of the state tournament.

Saturday, they went down 12-4 to the Fayette Dirtbags, the eventual third-place team in the tournament, then got pounded 14-4 by the Monroe Scorchers to end their run in the consolation bracket.
